New Aloft Madrid Gran Vía to Open in Spain This July

Aloft Hotels is launching the Aloft Madrid Gran Vía in Spain this July.  

The new property from Marriott International’s hotel brand is near the Plaza de España, the neighborhood of Malasaña and Chueca, and the shopping district of Gran Via. The futuristic design aims to contrast with the historic streets of Gran Via.

Amenities in each of the 139 guestrooms include Aloft’s beds in the brand’s signature loft layout, 49-inch televisions with Plug & Play connectivity and free Wi-Fi. To enter, Marriott Bonvoy members can use the Marriott Bonvoy app on their smartphone or Apple Watch as their room key.

The hotel also has an interactive private creative meeting space with natural lights, called Tactic. It is equipped with modern audio-visual hardware. There is also a Re:charge fitness center and a Splash pool, along with Re:fuel by Aloft, a 24-hour cafe serving snacks on the go.

Locals and travelers alike can head to the brand’s Re:mix Lounge and W XYZ to listen to live music performances as part of the Live At Aloft Hotels music series. Programming will consist of cultural, design and tech events.

There are currently 161 Aloft Hotels in 25 countries and territories across the globe. In Europe specifically, Aloft Hotels is present in city break destinations like Dublin, London and Liverpool, with expected openings in The Hague, Munich and more.
