Auberge Pairs its Central America Resorts With New Experience

Auberge Resorts Collection has created a new travel experience pairing its two Central American resorts, Hacienda AltaGracia and Mukul for a coast to countryside vacation.

Guests can now experience AltaGracia, the hacienda-style estate in the mountains of Costa Rica for three nights, and fly to Mukul, the luxury retreat on the emerald coast of Nicaragua, for three more nights with their own private charter transfer. The package includes a three-night stay at each property, private plane transfer and daily breakfast for 2 guests.

During their stay, guests can enjoy experiences like:

Hacienda AltaGracia

Behind the Boruca Mask: Spend the day with the Boruca Tribe, one of the last remaining indigenous tribes of Costa Rica and meet the village elder.  Learn about the history and traditions of this tribe that is known for their intricately carved masks, with the opportunity to create a mask to take home.

Poolside Panorama: Enjoy the 20,000 square-foot Spa that comprises indoor and outdoor treatment rooms – some with soaking tubs and private outdoor gardens, locally inspired facials and body treatments – before taking a dip in the infinity pool.

Ultralight Flights: Travel through cloud forests, skim verdant valleys, and hover near the Nauyaca waterfalls on an Ultralight flight adventure. The planes take off and land from the resort’s private airfield.

On-site Organic Farm: Cultivate the ingredients for the kitchen from the resort’s own organic farm, where guests can join the chefs to pick fresh produce each morning for the days’ dishes.

Mukul

World-Class Surf: Guests can surf at the famous Manzanillo Point. The resort has partnered with TropicSurf to deliver surfing experiences. Beginners can enjoy lessons, and coaching sessions as well as guided half-day boat and all-terrain-vehicle tours along the coast.

Give Back: Mukul, Auberge Resorts Collection takes pride in the Sea Turtle Conservation Program, a place for the turtles to come and lay their eggs. The resort has designated certain sites for a turtle refuge to conserve and help these sea turtles, and guests can also experience an on-site baby turtle release. The resort's Sea Turtle Conservation Program helps re-populate the regions' turtles, including the endangered Olive Ridley Sea Turtles and Leatherback Sea Turtles that nest on our beaches.

Experience Granada: Travel to Granada, a city filled with colonial architecture and historical experiences. Founded in 1524 by Spanish Conquistador Francisco Hernández de Córdoba, Granada is the oldest city on the American continent.

Take a Hike: Enjoy scenic nature trails in the Pacific Dry Forest where tropical birds, monkeys and iguanas can be found. For millennia, the land bridge between North and South America served as a migratory thoroughfare and mating ground for species native to the once-separate continents. Experience views of Guacalito de la Isla and its Emerald Coast, and travel into the forest with expert guides to visit the areas' highest points with panoramic views spanning as far as Costa Rica.
