Following the successful launch of Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort in Thailand, Avani Hotels has announced the addition of Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort to its collection. Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort debuts with 92 guestrooms, suites and private pool villas decked in Melayu motifs.
The all-new Avani Room offers guests three categories: Pool View, Pool Access or Sea View, with an in-room pantry that provides holiday treats. The private pool villas offer sunset views over the Andaman Sea, while the Grand Ocean Residence is located atop the resort and includes a private garden area that can be used for intimate wedding celebrations. A living room, dining and kitchen facilities are also available.
Avani+ Koh Lanta offers three new food and beverage venues. The Pantry by Avani offers freshly brewed coffee and pastries, with café-style indoor settings that open up into an outdoor garden. The main poolside restaurant, The Cliff, provides a range of fresh seafood, sourced from the local fishing villages in line with the resort’s commitment to sustainable dining. The Reggae Bar is a popular sunset, cocktails and entertainment spot. It showcases views of the Andaman Sea and exudes a romantic after-dark ambience with upbeat tunes.
The renewed AvaniFit Gym concept offers the latest in exercise equipment and a boot-camp program. Guests can also opt for treatments at the AvaniSpa.
Koh Lanta Island is about 40 miles south of Krabi International Airport and accessible via a 15-minute ferry crossing. Guests can chill on the beaches, go island-hopping (there are 50 to choose from) or enjoy a slow boat ride in the Tung Yee Peng Mangrove Forest. A dive in the clear waters in Koh Haa is recommended for the more adventurous travelers, followed by a sunset cruise with a bottle of bubbly.
