PATAGONIA, Chile -- Awasi, one of Chile’s hottest hotels as of late, is planning to expand near the Iguazu Falls in Argentina as well as Torres del Paine, Chile with groundbreaking expected as early as next year, Travel Agent learned Friday. The already popular brand has one eight-room luxury eco-lodge in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
The new properties will both be between eight and 14 rooms. We were told that no future Awasi property will ever be more than 14 rooms in order to ensure pe
rsonal, one-on-one service between the resort’s in-house tour guides and its guests. Travel Agent first told you about Awasi at the end of last year and expects to tell you much more in the future as this resort continues to collect awards. In fact, at TravelMart Latin America 2009, many of the attendees have been buzzing about the resort, describing it as Chile’s best hotel as of late.
