Grupo Piñero, parent company of Bahia Principe, has celebrated the official grand opening of its newest adults-only resort, Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar in Punta Cana. The festivities, which coincided with the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE), brought together more than 250 guests to celebrate the property and enjoy the brand’s new Escape Experience.
Bahia Principle Ambar reopened in November after undergoing renovations. Grupo Piñero invested more than $26 million to renovate the 528-room beachfront hotel, adding swim-up suites, revamped restaurants, a sports bar and fitness center. Per the brand’s recent re-branding and segmentation, the Escape Experience is for adults seeking high-quality accommodations, entertainment and programming. Divided into six events, the party on Bavaro Beach sought to highlight some of the entertainment the brand’s Escape Experience offers, including a burlesque show, rock show and silent disco, as well as a culinary offer that brings together the latest trends in cuisine and mixology as part of the brand's all-inclusive concept.
Lluisa Salord, corporate commercial director for Grupo Piñero, also took a moment to highlight Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar’s successful reception among travelers. She reports that the company is extremely satisfied with the results Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar has obtained in the five months since its reopening and have high expectations for the remainder of 2019 expect it to be an extraordinary year for their new hotel.
