Barcelo Ends Agreement With


Travel Agent learned Monday that Barcelo Hotels & Resorts has ended its controversial agreement with Barcelo partnered with the commission-free website on February 24, creating some backlash from agents who felt betrayed by the famous, Caribbean and Mexico-based, all-inclusive company. The agreement lasted only about a month. It is still unclear whether Barcelo’s decision to end the agreement was due to the backlash the company received from furious agents.
