Ramon's Village Resort, one of the first hotel properties on Ambergris Caye in Belize, is getting a $500,000 dollar facelift. Affectionately called "Ramons" by locals, the resort will undergo extensive indoor and outdoor updates that will enhance the appearance of its cabanas and accentuate the romance and character of the Polynesian-themed property.

Changes will also be made to the menu at the resort's restaurant, featuring new signature entrees and desserts. All renovations are expected to be completed by December.
