Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado announced today that the resort will be opening on Friday, November 14, for the 2014-2015 ski season.
Snow and cold temperatures have hit Colorado, allowing the snowmaking team at Breckenridge Ski Resort to prepare for Friday’s opening.
The ski lift will operate from 9am-4pm and gondola operating hours are from 8am-5pm. Depending on conditions, the upper lifts at Breck open 30 minutes later.
The Ski and Ride School is open to all levels, from beginner to expert, for anyone who would like to work with a professional to improve their skills for skiing or snowboarding.
Breckenridge Resort offers five different places to stay, such as The Village Hotel, The Village at Break, Mountain Thunder Lodge, Crystal Peak Lodge, and One Ski Hill Place. It also offers over 30 bars, pubs and restaurants for nightlife entertainment.
It's located 104 miles from Denver International Airport, 110 miles from Colorado Springs Airport, and 63 miles from Eagle County Regional Airport.
