The Crane Resort Finishes First Phase of New Private Residences

Crane Resorts, Barbados’ luxury developer of the historic The Crane Resort and Beach Houses, has officially completed phase one of The Crane Private Residences, a luxury gated residential community within The Crane.

The first of five private residences buildings offers its new owners access to its 16 contemporary condo-style units, which offer full use of all the resort’s amenities and services.

Spread over five acres, The Crane Private Residences consists of five residential buildings that comprise of spacious two-bedroom (1,916 square feet.) and three-bedroom (3,619 square feet) units.

All units are complete with a large kitchen, natural stone bathrooms with large soaker tubs and generous glass showers, and private patios. Ground floor residences each have a large private pool and garden, while penthouse units include a private roof terrace, a dining gazebo adjacent to a swimming pool and coastal views. Ideal for long term living, The Crane Private Residences also include underground parking and an elevator service leading directly into the foyer of each residence.

Ownership at The Crane Resort is structured with affordability and simplicity in mind. Barbados’ foreign policy allows property buyers access to U.S. dollar- based mortgages from local banks, a benefit not offered by many Caribbean islands, according to a written release issued by The Crane. Financing a private residence at The Crane follows a staged payment approach at pre-construction milestones and only requires two percent of the purchase price as the reserve down payment.

An optional turnkey residence management solution is also provided to all owners. This system aims to offer multi-bedroom, fully serviced hotel residences to guests when not in use by the owner. Income from the unused room nights can then offset the owner's mortgage.

Phase two is slated to be completed in early 2019 and its three remaining residences are available to purchase starting at $773,000.
