Enchantment Group has announced the appointment of David Flack as the general manager of The Cove, Eleuthera resort in the Bahamas.
Flack joins The Cove with nearly 30 years of experience operating luxury hotels and resorts, as well as strong leadership experience and extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, the resort said.
Flack served three years as managing director of Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands, where he oversaw resort and restaurant operations and executed an extensive, multimillion dollar property renovation.
Rounding out his experience, Flack has held leadership positions within the incentive and restaurant industries.
“The appointment of David will strengthen The Cove’s position as a leading experiential luxury resort in the Bahamas,” said Mark Grenoble, CEO of Enchantment Group, in a written release. “We look forward to leveraging his industry expertise as we continue to aim for operational excellence and establish our brand.”
Located on the island of Eleuthera and spread across 45 acres, the property offers light activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. The 57-room The Cove resort offers a selection of seaside cottages and villas. The Cove also has private beaches, a fitness center, a spa, an open-air sunset bar and a gourmet restaurant inspired by the island.
