Delta Hotels Riviera Nayarit, which opened in August 2021, has announced the opening of Tonati Beach Club besides the ground-breaking of a waterpark.
Tonati marks the first expansion of the all-inclusive resort and gives continuity to the architectural elements inspired by the indigenous history of the La Cruz de Huanacaxtle site, with palapa ceilings, customized furniture and Wi-Fi connectivity so guests can work from anywhere while enjoying ocean views. The beach club is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer a range of ceviches, aguachiles, poke bowls, sushi and other fresh dishes from local produce, besides craft signature cocktails and libations. It is located near the Marina of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and is accessible from the resort via a complimentary shuttle service.
Part of Marriott Bonvoy’s collection of hotels, Delta Hotels Riviera Nayarit has also begun construction for a waterpark, with cascading pools and jacuzzis, a lazy river, kids’ and adult-only areas, and a complete jungle lounging experience. The amusement park is inspired by the Tolantongo caves, located in the Mexican state of Hidalgo, where thermal springs naturally form heated pools. The waterpark at the resort is set to open by January 2023, and will be exclusive to resort guests.
Situated between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit has 117 guestrooms with private balconies and mountain views, two restaurants, and four pop-up venues. The property also offers two swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center and a spa with 10 treatment rooms. The Delta Pantry offers on-the-go breakfast, besides healthy premium snacks and beverages.
