Design Hotels Opens Gulf of Thailand Resort

Design Hotels has opened a new property in the Gulf of Thailand. Alila Cha-Am is a contemporary beachside resort two hours south of Bangkok, with 79 rooms and villas. The pool villas measure 975 square feet and come with private garden, pool and terrace. The resort's Spa Alila has treatment and massage suites surrounding a thermal mineral pool. Alila Cha-Am offers poolside dining at the restaurant Motion and rooftop dining at the Zen-style Clouds Loft. Both the spa and restaurants use ingredients from the resort's own organic garden.
