The couples-only, clothing-optional Desire Riviera Maya Resort is currently undergoing a major expansion to provide its guests more delight than ever. Opening February 5, 2024, The Eden will offer travelers an entirely new space at the hotel.
The Eden will add 42 new rooms and suites, offering views of the Caribbean Sea. Of these, the 22 Beloved Suites will be fully equipped with a private jacuzzi and soft lighting, while the seven innovative Seductive Garden-View Swim-Up Suites and four Seductive Pool-View Swim-Up Suites will have oversized showers, private terraces and swim-up pools. The stars of the show, however, will be the six Diamond Ocean-View and three Diamond Ocean-View Swim-Up Suites, where couples will find lavish decoration, Caribbean views and erotic amenities.
The Eden will additionally offer a new ensemble of hot spots and features. New facilities will include the seaside Sensual Swim-Up Bar and Y Nightclub. Those looking to take their intimacy to the next level can make use of the new Playroom. Also upgraded at the resort’s Eden is the new Exotic Spa. This space provides total body relaxation with its Fantasy Menu, offering a four-person cabin with a jacuzzi, two double cabins with a jacuzzi, a cold chamber, and a vapor room and sauna.
In addition, The Eden will debut two new restaurants—EROS, serving international cuisine, and KAHLO paying an homage to Mexican gastronomy. The new Jacuzzi Lounge & Bar is a perfect spot for any time of the day, whether it’s for an afternoon drink while watching the sunset, or a late-night dip. The Eden will also house a lobby bar and a large Mystique Boutique Shop—where guests will find the shelves stocked with adult treasures, theme night attire, souvenirs and more.
