Disneyland Resort to Implement Mobile Ordering Service

Disney has announced that a new mobile ordering service will soon be available at the Disneyland Resort. The mobile ordering service will add another option for guests to customize their Disney visits, allowing them to conveniently place orders at select fast casual and quick-service restaurants using the Disneyland App from anywhere across the resort.

Guests will be able to easily search for a participating location, select an arrival time window for pickup, choose items from the menu and place their order. As an added convenience, Annual Passholders will be able to apply their discount to meal purchases using the app. Guests will notify the restaurant of their arrival on the app and an app notification will indicate the meal is ready to pick up at a designated window – with no time spent waiting in line to order and pay.

The mobile ordering functionality is part of an effort to enhance the guest experience. Combined with the recently launched Disney MaxPass (also part of the Disneyland App), which lets guests make FASTPASS selections on their mobile device and get unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads for a day, guests will be able to spend more time with family and friends enjoying what the Disneyland Resort has to offer – including the first-ever Pixar Fest, a limited-time celebration throughout the resort, April 13-September 3, 2018.

Pixar Fest will take place at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, offering limited-time experiences like “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” in Disneyland Park that includes pyrotechnics, musical numbers from the films, digital projections, and appearances from famous Pixar characters.
