Dominican Republic Looks Strong For 2008

 

Over the last few years, the Dominican Republic has pumped out enough luxury products to make it a viable contender with Turks and Caicos for arguably the Caribbean’s most luxurious destination. And 2008 looks like it will be no different.

The Dominican Republic in February will see the opening of Maxim Bungalows at Cofresi Beach. Roco Ki, the new luxury resort and residential community under construction in Punta Cana debuts in the Fall. Upon the opening of its first phase in the fall of 2008, Roco Ki will include luxury beachfront residences, villas and condos—and The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort, featuring more than 300 lodging and residential units; a conference facility; an aquatic sports center and spa and a championship Nick Faldo-designed, 18-hole, par-72 golf course.
