The Dorchester Group is launching its own GDS code, DC, which will take effect April 25. Previously the Dorchester Group hotels, which are located in London, Beverly Hills, Paris and Milan, could be booked through Leading Hotels of the World. To kick off the new code, the Dorchester Group is running a promotion for agents at [www.dorchestergrouphotels.com/newgdscode/dc]. Five first-place winners will receive a three-night stay in a top suite with two business-class airline tickets, limo airport transfers and breakfast. Ten second-place prizes will be awarded, 20 third-place and 100 fourth-place rewards. Agents using the new DC code through May 31 can access a special promotional rate and earn 5 percent bonus commission for bookings through Dec. 31.
