Easiest Return to Hotel After Skiing, Ever

About a month ago, I was raving about how easy it was to get from my Studio Room at the Killington Grand Hotel to Killington mountain for some skiing. It was indeed close and easy, but it's even more convenient at The Osprey at Beaver Creek. Take less than 20 steps from back door at The Osprey and you are at the Strawberry Park Express chairlift and heading up Beaver Creek mountain. You'll be skiing, riding or snowshoeing, among many other outdoor activities, within moments. For agents who have clients who love skiing, love luxury, but hate schlepping more than a couple of yards from hotel to ski mountain, this place is perfect for the pitching. Check out the video below to see just how close the chairlift is to the hotel:

In addition to this incredible convenience, The Osprey is a fantastic luxury resort. It's intimately organized so that it feels like your own personal ski cabin. The bar/restaurant, hot tub and outdoor pool, fitness room and lounge area (complete with fireplace, cozy furniture, board games and a Nintendo Wii), are as close to the rooms as the chairlift is to the back door. Such amenities, in addition to the posh and hip atmosphere, make The Osprey a stand out place for couples and groups as the majority of Beaver Creek's hotels and inns are family-oriented.

MTV already caught on to how chic The Osprey is. The network booked several rooms at the hotel while in town for a winter carnival event that featured Lifehouse and the Plain White T's. Members of the band enjoyed their stay at the hotel as well.

Beaver Creek itself is a luxury and family-friendly ski resort that was blessed with sunny skies and nearly 40 degree temperatures with sunny skies this past weekend. A few snapshots from my first day skiing here, as well as some shots of The Osprey, are in the slide show below. Check them out.
