Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection Now Accepting Reservations

Auberge Resorts Collection has announced that Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection—a new resort set in a mangrove forest along a stretch of the Caribbean Sea—is accepting reservations and will open this December. The brand’s third luxury resort in Mexico is part of the new luxury Kanai development and just 30 miles from Cancun International Airport

Set against a backdrop of white sand beach on a turquoise bay with the region’s largest reef just 250 feet offshore, resort amenities will include two swimming pools, an events lawn, five restaurants, a kids’ club and experiences that help explore the Yucatán Peninsula

Design elements are grounded by the late Mexican master Miguel Felguerez’s key Mayan life cycle motif created for Etéreo and featured throughout the property alongside art pieces, furniture and lighting from other studios across Mexico. Its modern buildings will unfold towards the waterfront and invite guests to enjoy a spaces that flow between indoors and out. The oceanfront and oceanview guest studios and suites will have a king bed or two queen beds and bathrooms with soaking tubs and dual vanities. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors will open up to views of the Caribbean Sea and large terraces with outdoor living space and private plunge pools.

From outdoor adventures that offer an up-close look at nature to time spent with local artisans learning about their craft, the resort’s on- and off-site experiences program has been designed to celebrate the Yucatán and its culture. Wrapped around the trunk of a tree, Mayan-inspired signature open-air restaurant Itzam offers innovative exploratory flavors and ocean views dining room, lounge terrace and private dining space, Pixán.

Further exploring the destination’s culture and history, Che Che will revere ‘nikkei’ tradition and tell the story of techniques of Japan as told through Latin American ingredients. For wellness seekers, Sana, An Auberge Spa, will welcome guests to a healing space inspired by ancient practices and set forward by modern wellness trends.
