Under Canvas has announced its 10th camp location, Under Canvas Bryce Canyon, in Southwest Utah. Located on 750 acres of secluded mountain plains, the new glamping option offers views of Mt. Dutton to the west and the Escalante Mountains in the east. Under Canvas opened its first camp 10 years ago near West Yellowstone.

Located 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park, the new camp provides access to several national parks and landscapes. Under Canvas Bryce Canyon is the fifth addition to the brand’s collection of Grand Circle locations, besides camps near Grand Canyon, Moab, Zion and Lake Powell - Grand Staircase.

Under Canvas Bryce Canyon features 50 safari-style canvas tents, all sitting on elevated decks with en-suite bathrooms and surrounded by the juniper forest where sightings of roaming elk and pronghorn are common amongst the expansive grounds. At 7,600 feet in elevation, the camp provides optimal weather conditions. It is conveniently located near the area’s famed crimson hoodoos and Dixie National Forest, besides other national parks and monuments.

Each Under Canvas location consists of safari-inspired canvas lodging tents furnished with plush king-size beds, luxe linens, USB charging packs, bedside lanterns and a wood-burning stove. The Stargazer Tent features its own viewing window above the king bed to stargaze at night.

Exclusive to Under Canvas Bryce Canyon, the Hoodoo Suite Tent features two tents adjoined by a private deck, a private fire pit and an outdoor area for families or groups.

Under Canvas Bryce Canyon centers around a lobby lounge tent and an expansive outdoor patio with fire pits and complimentary goodies. The camp features indoor and outdoor dining for breakfast and dinner. It offers regionally inspired dishes alongside healthy grab-and-go options for lunch, besides coffee.

The company offers complimentary on- and off-site adventure programming in collaboration with local outfitters. Onsite, guests will have access to active-wear and other accessories, woolen products and the brand’s line of apparel and dog-friendly items for all family members to sleep under the stars.

Under Canvas offers an “off the grid” experience as part of the brand’s “mindful approach” ethos. The new camp utilizes fully renewable energy, powered by a self-sustaining, onsite solar array. This includes pull chain showers, low flow toilets, rechargeable battery pack charging in tents and a towel reuse program that all work to minimize energy use.

The brand’s commitment also includes efforts to minimize overall environmental footprint in the areas of waste management, water use and special lighting that minimizes light pollution to maximize the enjoyment of the night sky. New this year, Under Canvas and global environmental nonprofit The Nature Conservancy (TNC) have teamed up to fund conservation initiatives and raise awareness through education, volunteer efforts and donation programs.

The inaugural season for the Bryce Canyon camp runs until September 26, 2022, with its regular season running May through September. Operating dates for the 2022 season at the other camps are as follows: Moab (March 4-October 24); Zion (March 10-November 7); Lake Powell - Grand Staircase (March 10-October 31); Great Smoky Mountains (April 7-November 28); Grand Canyon (April 14-October 24); Mount Rushmore (May 5-September 26); Acadia (May 12-October 10); Yellowstone (May 10-September 5); and Glacier (June 9-September 12).
