Frenchman's Reef Marriott Resort Reopens With New Services

The Frenchman’s Reef Marriott Resort in St. Thomas has officially reopened after a $48 million dollar renovation.

The exterior of the main tower, and all of the guest rooms, were fully redesigned and several new services were added to the hotel. The 302-room property, which provides views of Charlotte Amalie Harbour and access to Morning Star Beach, now has a new spa and spa pool, a larger fitness center, a full service salon, new restaurants and menus, expanded lounge areas, a redesigned infinity pool with a kids zone, and a new adults only pool. The Lazule Sea Spa features 4,000 square feet, including seven treatment rooms, massage cabanas, a couples-room, and the exclusive spa pool and couples relaxation room.

The newly redesigned guest rooms have a contemporary design that go along with a Caribbean décor, as well as ergonomic workspaces, a rain style shower head, a LCD high-definition television, and Marriott’s signature bedding. The Aqua Terra Oceanfront Grill provides classic American food, with views of Charlotte Amalie Harbour and the Aqua Terra Lounge, adjacent to the Oceanfront Grill, also has an outside terrace. In addition to the new spa pool, there is a spa pool deck that is secluded from the main pool area, where guests can relax before and after treatments. There are hot and cold mini plunge pools in this location and the extra space also makes it possible for large groups to host meetings there.
