Grand Hyatt San Francisco to Debut Renovations

Grand Hyatt San FranciscoThe Grand Hyatt San Francisco, located near Union Square Park, has begun renovations that will last the next few months. The renovations will include its 685 guest rooms and suites, all of which will be completed by the end of August 2011. Updates will also be made to lend a fresh, contemporary feeling to its guest corridors, fitness center and meeting space.

Located on floors 30 through 34, the new Grand Club rooms will feature one-touch controls for lights and shades and hardwood floors made from sustainably harvested, chemical-free wood. Work by Bay Area artists will include rich teak woods, dark leathers and chrome/frosted glass accents, in addition to each room or suite's Hyatt Grand Bed, flat-screen TV and wireless or wired high-speed Internet.

On the 35th floor, the new Hyatt Stay Fit gym will feature bay windows and state-of-the-art equipment. The size and flexibility of select function rooms in the meeting space are also being re-constructed.
