Hard Rock International has announced an expansion of hotels to its current portfolio. The properties comprise four different Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations across the U.S. and Canada.
The addition of the properties comes after Hard Rock's reacquisition of its global Hotel & Casino rights, which now unites the brand under one controlling ownership.
The four existing properties added to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos portfolio include Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Taho, Nevada; Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City, Iowa; Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Hard Rock Casino Vancouver.
Hard Rock acquired the rights from affiliates of BREF HR, LLC, which own and operate the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The transaction also means that Hard Rock can exclusively develop, own, license, franchise and manage Hard Rock casinos and hotel-casinos in the western United States, including Minnesota and other states located west of the Mississippi River, in addition to properties in Australia, Brazil, Israel, Vancouver, British Columbia and Venezuela.
The reacquisition joins the brand under singular ownership for the first time in more than three decades.
