Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort has announced the opening of La Mezcaleria, a signature mezcal bar that is the first of its kind in the brand’s all-inclusive portfolio. Located on the terrace of the resort’s signature restaurant Maxal, the new mezcal bar offers guests a selection of local mezcal brands authentic to Mexico.
Debuting this month, La Mezcaleria is the newest addition to Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort’s diverse culinary venues. It is a secluded space with sweeping ocean views.
The new bar will feature 13 different mezcals, all local to Mexico, and will offer a set mezcal menu for guests to enjoy throughout the year. The menu’s 13 mezcal offerings include Siglo Cero Pox (Chiapas); Raicilla Saité Joven (Jalisco); Destilado de Agave Yuyank, Espadín Caja Artesanal; Destilado de Agave Yuyank, Coyote Caja Artesanal; Raicilla Barranca de Jalpa; Sin Pena Mezcal; Mezcal Tribal Ensamble; Mezcal a Medios Chiles, Espadín con Hormiga Chicatana; Mezcal Destreza, Tobalá; Mezcal Destreza Tobalá Botella con Arte Huichol; Mezcal Destreza, Espadín; Mezcal Destreza, Espadín Botella con Arte Huichol; Mezcal Bosscal, Cenizo Destilado con Damiana; Destilado de Agave Gozona, Tobasiche.

The opening marks an experience highlighting local culture, joining the resort’s 13 concept-driven dining and beverage venues, each with their own unique inspiration. Home to the La Mezcaleria, signature restaurant Maxal serves up traditional Mexican cuisine inspired by homecooked traditions, such as Castacan tacos with shrimp aguachile, prepared with an endemic pork from the peninsula and shrimp from Campeche.
