Hotel Xcaret Mexico Makes Debut in Riviera Maya

Experiencias Xcaret, a leader in sustainable tourist recreation, has announced the grand opening of Hotel Xcaret Mexico, the company’s first five-star hotel. The hotel, located 45 minutes from Cancun International Airport, introduces the “ALL-FUN INCLUSIVE” concept that aims to blend luxurious accommodations with top-of-the-line service and amenities, as well as give complimentary access to Experiencias Xcaret’s eight nature parks and tours.

The grand opening event took place on December 2, when more than 2,000 guests came to see its unveiling. The guests had the opportunity to see the new hotel through a selection of experiences that took place in different areas of the hotel, including an exclusive concert by the Symphony Orchestra of Merida, conducted by Mexican director Alondra de la Parra.

Accommodations

Hotel Xcaret Mexico offers 900 Mexican-inspired all-view suites that include balconies with views of the beach, the river, and private coves. Among the hotel’s spaces are two special retreats: Casa Fuego, an adults-only retreat with private spaces and vistas, and Casa Agua that caters to those looking for a quieter setting. The latter is also positioned near the Spa and Wellness center, providing direct access.

Guests can choose from a Suite, Junior Suite, Swim-up Suite, or Master Suite. All rooms have authentic, locally-made Mexican décor and furniture. Guests can also enjoy in-room amenities like a blend of Nespresso-compatible coffee capsules by local Café del Cielo, inspired by the wonders of Xcaret, and only available to hotel guests.

“ALL-FUN INCLUSIVE” Concept

Hotel Xcaret Mexico’s guest experience includes unlimited access to Experiencia Xcaret’s eight nature parks and tours including Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, XplorFuego, Xoximilco, Xenses, Xichén and Xenotes. Guests can roam the resort and park grounds with waterproof wristbands that provide access to the guestrooms and parks. Among other perks are airport shuttle service, 24-hour room service, concierge, complimentary Wi-Fi, Kids and Teens Clubs, and babysitting services upon request.

Culinary Journeys

The hotel’s culinary offerings, imagined by local Mexican Chef Orlando Trejo, include 10 restaurants: La Trajinera, La Cantina Mexican Steak House, Ha', El Mercado, Chibali, Teatro Del Rio, Xin-Gao, Fuego Restaurant, Snack BarLa Plays and Las Cueva. The concept at Ha’ restaurant is led by Michelin star Chef Carlos Gaytan, also a “Top Chef” contestant.

Guests can also choose from eight different bars: Lobby Bar, three Pool Bars, Trajinera Swim Up Bar, La Cantina (adults only), Ha’, Xin-Gao, Rooftop Bar Fuego and the Wellness/Spa Bar.

Muluk Spa & Wellness

The facility offers wellness and relaxation services like Temazcal, biodynamic signature amenities, dermo aesthetics, hydrotherapy circuit, salt flotation tank and more.
