Hyatt Names Extended-Stay Brand

Following Hyatt's acquisition of Summerfield Suites on Jan. 5, the company has officially renamed the upscale extended stay brand Hyatt Summerfield Suites. The first properties will be converted in late 2006 following renovations while Hyatt will develop an extended stay prototype for new build hotels and new brand standards for conversions.
