Transformed from the ground up, the Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa will reopen its doors in spring this year, after a fire destroyed the nearly 30-year-old boutique hotel in 2019. The family-owned and operated property now has 38 rooms and two suites. Despite the transformation, the building will remain true to the beloved Jackson lodge aesthetic and fit seamlessly into the surrounding towering timbers and mountains.
“We are a new lodge with an old soul,” said Brandon Harrison, owner of The Rusty Parrot. “Cultivating the same spirit, grit and grace of the West, we were determined to not only build back, but to also seize the opportunity to expand and elevate the understated luxurious atmosphere we’ve long been known for. We look forward to introducing our guests to the new way we’ve woven in additional sophisticated amenities and modern touches.”
Set just steps away from Jackson’s Town Square and within easy reach of the striking landscapes and natural playground, The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa will now offer 22 King Fireplace rooms, 11 Double Queen rooms and five King rooms. Each room offers beautiful views, custom furniture, regionally sourced artwork, luxury finishes and linens, spa-quality bathrooms and products, along with the latest comforts and conveniences for today’s traveler. Relics of the old hotel will be hidden throughout the new build to pay homage to an iconic property that both charmed and made memories for so many over the years.
Wild Sage, the restaurant, will return with more seating, including a patio space and a larger open kitchen. Guests can also relax at the Body Sage Spa located onsite. Other enhancements include valet parking, a larger outdoor hot tub and secluded courtyard ideal for après ski, a rooftop space for stargazing, and a wildlife viewing deck overlooking the creek and butte.
