JW Marriot Los Cabos Beach Resort and Spa Announces Fall 2015 Debut

JW Marriot Los Cabos Beach Resort and SpaJW Marriott has announced that it will be opening its new Los Cabos Beach Resort and Spa, a 299-room luxury beachfront resort designed by architect Jim Olson, in fall 2015.

The resort, which was created in collaboration with with Mexico City-based design firm IDEA Asociados, is “dedicated to cherishing and showcasing Los Cabos’ natural environment and traditions.” 

The property is located in the upscale Puerto Los Cabos community among the desert dunes of Baja California Sur, Mexico, at the point where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet. The main lobby offers views of  the ocean, as well as access to the hotel’s infinity pools. Guestrooms and suites also have ocean views, and are decorated in a contemporary style with displays created by international artists. 

JW Marriot Los Cabos Beach Resort and Spa will have seven restaurants, including its signature Café des Artistes, serving Mexican cuisine with French influences, and Nak & Grill Bar, offering open-grilled local seafood dishes. P’yote Rooftop Bar will feature an extensive list of cocktails which guests can enjoy on the hotel’s upper terrace.

Guests will have access to The Jasha Spa, which includes 12 treament rooms, an outdoor garden and patio, vitality pools, an indoor pool, Jacuzzis, and a traditional temazcal, a Mexican sweat lodge used by ancient Aztecs

There will also be a beach club, banquet and meeting facilities, and retail shops, as well as Puerto Los Cabos’ private marina and golf courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.
