Kayak.com has enhanced its hotel search offering and announced that its hotel inventory now contains more than 115,000 properties worldwide, because of recent partnerships with booking engine vendors and suppliers and new hotels added through the "Every Hotel on Earth" program. Hotel search enhancements include the ability to pre-filter results from the hotel home page. Drop-down menus were added for hotel brands and price range, and a brand drop-down menu displays only hotel brands found within the specified market. A custom location link lets users search hotels by proximity to a specific address such as a client's office or a relative's house. Additional information for each individual property was added for quick reference such as address, amenities and a list of travel sites offering the hotel/price combination.
