La Colección Resorts Announces Eight New Summer Experiences

As summer slowly approaches, La Coleccións’ four hotel brands is now offering a line-up of activities this summer that cater to all kinds of travelers, including new culinary experiences, excursions, an entertainment program, a new all-inclusive package and more. For travelers looking to plan a summer getaway, here's what's new at La Colección Resorts’ 14 properties in Mexico:

Live Aqua Resorts

Live Aqua Urban Resort San Miguel de Allende has announced the opening of a new dining venue: Spice Market San Miguel de Allende, where the menu includes plates inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia such as glazed ribs, wok-charred mushrooms, black cod soaked in miso and more. After undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation, Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun expanded its culinary offerings by adding Inlaa’Kech Restaurant to its repertoire of dining venues. Overseen by Chef César Germain, this new concept offers pairing menus in a setting with white décor and tropical wood accents.

Grand Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts

Grand Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts offers five-star personalized service to guests with upscale amenities and facilities. Hot Summer Extravaganza is back for the third consecutive year exclusively at Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta. From June through October, guests can participate in activities including lively pool parties, live DJ performances, a gastronomy festival and a sunset catamaran party. The brand's Cancun resort has also rolled out a new all-inclusive package, Ú by Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun. The new concept offers guests a variety of perks including access to a hydrotherapy ritual at the Gem Spa, dining at any of the resort’s a la carte restaurants and complimentary ferry tickets to Isla Mujeres.

Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts is inviting travelers of all ages to Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun’s newest dining venue, Xakay, a new beach-front restaurant specializing in seafood made with fresh ingredients from all over the Yucatan region. The family-friendly spot also offers new camp-themed activities at its KidZ Club, so parents can enjoy some time to themselves while younger guests under the age of 12 share stories as they roast marshmallows and make smores, dress up as their favorite characters, or go on a treasure hunt around the club, all under resort staff supervision.

The Explorean Discovery Resorts

For an intimate experience that invites travelers to immerse in their natural and cultural surroundings, The Explorean Kohunlich is bringing back an excursion in which travelers can rappel into one of Mexico’s cenotes. In addition, the Explorean Cozumel is offering a new Sunset Kayak excursion. Guests can get an up-close view of the waters where marine fauna and flora, from tropical fish to jellyfish and sea plankton, are visible from the sides of the kayak.
