Langham Hotels International Announces New Hotel in Beijing

Langham Hotels International has announced the launch of its first Langham Place Hotel in China. The five star 26-story Langham Place Hotel, Beijing is scheduled to open in the second half of 2008. The hotel, which is in the Chao Yang District, the prime business district in Beijing, will target business and upscale leisure travelers. Langham Place Hotel, Beijing, a new build, will have 440 guest rooms and suites and 40 serviced apartments with a separate entrance. The hotel also will have a spa and 16,400 square feet of multi-purpose function space. At this time there are no specific room rates available, but a spokesperson for the hotel says they will be in line with other five-star international hotels in Beijing.
