Las Ventanas al Paraiso Names New Director of Sales, Marketing

Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, has announced the appointment of Marinette Dorkhom Giaquinta as director of sales and marketing. 

In this role, Giaquinta will lead overall sales and marketing operations and utilize her business acumen to develop innovative marketing strategies and drive revenue objectives for Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort.

Giaquinta joins Rosewood with more than 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing. Most recently, Giaquinta spent eight years as director of global sales at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, where she managed sales strategies for the company’s global portfolio of top hotels. 

Previously, Giaquinta worked as director of sales at Jumeirah Essex House in New York City and director of marketing at Metropolitan Hotel and Tower in Beirut, as well as senior sales manager at Marriott International.

Marinette graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Institutional Management and attended the Global Executive Leadership Professional Program at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.

Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort has 84 suites, including one-bedroom villas, two-bedroom Penthouse suites and the Ty Warner Mansion, a 28,000 square-foot beachfront mansion with three private pools, two expansive master suites and a rooftop terrace.

All suites feature butler service, spacious living areas, wood-burning fireplaces, Mexican decor and views of the sea, sand and desert gardens.

The dining options at the resort include El Restaurante, an elegant restaurant serving traditional, locally-sourced Mexican cuisine; The Sea Grill, an open-air, oceanfront restaurant serving the catches of the day, ceviche and shellfish and Arbol, a new Asian-inspired restaurant.
