Mandarin Tapped for New Paris, Guangzhou and Taipei Hotels

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has been tapped to manage three hotels opening in 2010—one each in Paris, Guangzhou and Taipei. Plans call for the Mandarin Oriental Paris to provide 150 rooms and suites in a redeveloped Art Deco building on rue Saint Honoré dating from the 1930s. The Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou will comprise 340 rooms and suites and 70 serviced apartments within a mixed-use venue with a cultural-arts center, luxury retail and office space. And in Taiwan, the Mandarin Oriental Taipei will be part of a five-acre upscale entertainment and lifestyle complex. All three new hotels also will have spas.
