Marriott Hotels has opened the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, its first resort in the United Arab Emirates. Situated along the island’s West Beach across over 75,000 square feet of white sand seafront, the beachside resort has 10 dining concepts, a pool, children’s club, spa, fitness center, water sports, and marine activities.

The resort’s 608 guestrooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows framing ocean views, private balconies, and in-room comforts including a pillow menu, mood lighting, an entertainment system and large bathtubs. Interconnecting rooms reflect the resort’s flexibility and focus on family stays, and the two-bedroom suites offer separate living, sleeping and dining spaces.

The resort has 10 F&B venues: The rustic, contemporary-chic trattoria Cucina; Gelateria by Cucina, an ice-cream parlor; all-day dining venue Levantera offers a menu influenced by Mediterranean cuisines and offers a children’s buffet, along with an overall focus on health and produce sourced from local farms; Myami Pool Bar & Lounge with a swim-up bar serves cocktails and light bites; beach restaurant Señor Pico serves American-Mexican comfort food and craft drinks; and the Lobby Lounge, situated in the Greatroom, serves signature tea and coffee experiences, cakes, pastries and desserts.

Opening next year, Bal Harbour Beach will offer a light meal and tropical drinks. Above Eleven will make its first foray outside of Asia in early 2023, and the restaurant’s open-air rooftop location will set the tone for sundowners and after-dark vibes. Expected to open in 2023, the resort’s flagship restaurant Smoki Moto Dubai will be the first Korean steakhouse in the city. The resort’s tenth venue, also a restaurant, is expected to be unveiled in the new year.

Guests staying in an M Club room or suite will enjoy exclusive access to M Club, a signature lounge, every day at any time. The space serves complimentary refreshments, breakfast, light bites, a grab-and-go menu, and hors d’oeuvres in the evening which can be enjoyed alongside the signature “Cocktail Hour.”

The 24/7 fitness center offers a schedule of group classes, personal training options and an age-appropriate fitness program designed for younger guests. Set to open in 2023, the resort’s Middle Eastern-inspired Saray Spa will have private treatment rooms, a couples room with a waterbed and jacuzzi, and relaxation areas. The spa will offer a range of treatments including the Saray Hammam, an elevated experience of the traditional cleansing ritual.

As part of the resort’s signature kids program, young guests are welcomed at a dedicated check-in area and receive gifts throughout their stay. In-room amenities include board games, children’s robes, slippers and bedding. The Kids Club offers a playground, pool and activities including yoga, crafts and karaoke. The “Kids Go All Inclusive Package” allows them to select from curated menus and enjoy unlimited soft beverages, snacks, and grab-and-go healthy treats from select venues throughout the day.

In 2023, locals can join Mbrace Club, an all-inclusive membership with exclusive access to Saray Spa, the Kids Club, fitness center, pool and beach.

Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, offers choice and flexibility with more than 20,000 square feet of event space, 11 venues including a majlis, and over 10,000 square feet of outdoor terrace space offering sea views.
