ME Cabo Reopens its Doors Following $10 Million Renovation

ME by Meliá has unveiled the all-new ME Cabo. The lifestyle resort has reopened after undergoing a $10 million renovation, with a completely new look from guestrooms and public spaces to food and beverage outlets, besides a new rooftop bar and lounge. The project has been completed in partnership with Rosa Negra.

Located on Los Cabos’ only swimmable beach, and overlooking “El Arco,” ME Cabo has partnered with popular Mexican restaurant group Grupo Rosa Negra to debut four new dining options: Confessions Skybar & Tapas, Taboo Beach Club & Restaurant, Funky Geisha, and Mamazzita Mexican Soul. The new culinary concepts are dedicated to serving locally sourced produce and ingredients that explore Latin American cuisine. Touting some of the best views the destination has to offer, Confessions Skybar & Tapas is the newly built rooftop bar and lounge offering a tapas-style menu, creative mixology and nightly entertainment. ME Cabo’s signature restaurant, Mamazzita, is an open-air restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It takes inspiration from the flavors and colors of Mexican culture.

Additional dining outlets include Funky Geisha, a reinvented lobby lounge open for lunch and dinner. It serves Thai-, Japanese- and Chinese-inspired cuisine in a casual setting. Guests relaxing poolside can also enjoy Taboo Beach Club, where the design of sea blues and natural stone walls, coupled with reimagined cuisine, aims to transport guests to the Mediterranean.

All 170 guestrooms have been remodeled to embrace traditional Mexican design, mixing rustic wood furnishings with vivid colors. Rooms range from 425 to 3,000 square feet and include a furnished balcony or terrace with garden or ocean views, as well as rainfall showers besides bath amenities by C.O. Bigelow, a fully stocked Maxibar and in-room technologies. Guests who prefer a more personalized, premium experience can reserve an ME+ suite. The upgraded suite experience includes access to the highest suite categories, a personalized room escort, followed by private, in-room check-in and an arrival cocktail, extra in-room amenities—including an interactive HDTV and Bluetooth sound bar, a complimentary Bali bed at Taboo Beach Club each day of the stay—and personalized services from ME Cabo’s Aura team.

ME Cabo also reopens with a new spa and well-being experience. The KORPO Wellness Experience combines inner and outer wellness through a blend of beauty treatments, relaxation techniques and a modern fitness facility. Treatments and techniques by Sothys include the “CBD Detox Massage,” which usesCBD oil designed to improve lymphatic and blood circulation, and relieve tension and pain. The “Facial HIIT Tri-Complex” combines the saffron, sophora and peptides in an anti-aging treatment, safe for all ages.

For couples looking to tie the knot, ME Cabo offers a range of wedding packages that emphasize art, culture and gastronomy. From a glitzy affair to a peaceful, relaxed beachfront event, every wedding at ME Cabo is sophisticated, innovative and fun.
