Meliá Hotels International to Open New Hotel in Shanghai

Managed by Meliá Hotels & Resorts, the new Meliá Shanghai Hongqiao will open its doors in March 2017.

The hotel will house 187 modern guest rooms and three full-service villa suites complete with a garden terrace. Guests who stay in the Garden Villas have full access to The Level lounge with limousine service, guest service attendants and more. The lounge has a private reception area, library with TV and music, private breakfast area and open bar with premium drinks. The Level will be fully operating starting mid-2017.

The hotel will also feature YHI Spa, Meliá’s signature wellness concept, along with a fully-equipped gym, yoga room and indoor swimming pool. For meals, guests can dine at Merkado, which will serve an array of international cuisines by Spanish chef Abel Lopez. The hotel will also offer a Garbo Cocktail bar.

Meliá Shanghai Hongqiao will be located in an urban complex with an array of neighboring entertainment, dining and shopping options, boutique supermarkets, bookstores, home design and lifestyle shops.

The Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand combines functional facilities with quality service within preferred business and leisure destinations including; Malaysia, Sao Paolo, Dominican Republic, Spain, Paris, London, and Tanzania. The brand integrates the five senses to offer the Spanish tradition of excellence in hospitality.
