Meliá Hotels International has announced the upcoming opening of Meliá Pattaya Hotel on February 15. The 12-story, 234-room hotel affords views of the Gulf of Thailand. In addition to its Lay Beach Club on Beach Road fronting Pattaya Beach, Meliá Pattaya Hotel will house a rooftop restaurant and bar, an executive lounge, pool with an adjacent bar and event lawn, Meliá’s signature YHI Spa, kids’ club, gym, co-working space, meeting spaces, and more.
The property comprises 218 rooms and 16 suites across seven accommodation categories for leisure and business travelers alike. Of these, 18 rooms and 16 suites will belong to “The Level,” an upgraded level of personalized service and benefits that includes access to The Level Lounge on the hotel’s second floor. An intimate area serving breakfast and afternoon delicacies, and suited for casual business meetings, The Level Lounge is fronted by a pre-function room and is adjacent to the hotel’s ballroom Nuaan. The 290-square-foot Deluxe Rooms and Deluxe Sea View Rooms have king or twin beds and a window-side sofa. The Premium Room and The Level Premium Sea View Room span 333 square feet each; and one- and two-bedroom The Level suites span 656 and 1,345 square feet, respectively.
The hotel’s food and beverage outlets include all-day dining restaurant Sanehh Sarae, specializing in fresh, locally sourced seafood; Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei restaurant Den; and the rooftop Yitong Chinese Restaurant & Sky Bar.
Family-friendly offerings include a pool featuring a slide, and a kids’ club, Kidsdom, offering Meliá’s signature entertainment program. With its “under the sea” theme inspired by Koh Pai Island and its wreck dive site, Kidsdom will host a variety of engaging yet educational activities.
