Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Unveils Multimillion Dollar Renovation

Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in Southern California has unveiled the next phase of its property-wide multimillion-dollar renovation that includes guestrooms, suites and the M Club Lounge.

The waterfront property draws inspiration from its surroundings as showcased by its two towers modeled to resemble sails flying above boats in the marina. The designers upheld this theme by blending beachy hues and organic textures with clean lines and dark metal accents to mimic the coastal essence of the city.

As part of the renovation project, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina will enhance its offerings by welcoming three refreshed Presidential Suites in the South Tower, newly designed lobby, ballroom spaces, Exchange Restaurant, Marina Kitchen Restaurant & Bar, Coronado Terrace, day beds and cabanas.

Earlier this year, the hotel had unveiled its new Topgolf Swing Suite, bringing the interactive gaming experience to downtown San Diego for the first time. Located in the hotel's Bayside Lounge, Topgolf Swing Suite is a hands-on hub for playful competition featuring three Swing Suite simulators and games that go beyond the traditional golf course set against panoramic views of the bay.

Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina’s Topgolf Swing Suite seamlessly accommodates business meetings, group celebrations and experiences with loved ones for locals and visitors alike.

Available to rent by the hour or a complete buyout for both business and social gatherings, each of the Topgolf Swing Suite bays accommodate up to eight guests and include an element of playful competition with golf and non-golf games such as Topgolf target games, carnival classics, jewel jam, hockey, baseball, soccer, football and more. The lounge is outfitted with ample seating overlooking panoramic views of the San Diego Bay and HDTVs featuring major sporting events. Additionally, the Topgolf Swing Suite’s advanced Full Swing simulators allow players to embark on a round at famous courses across the world. Pricing starts at $75/hour/ bay.

While taking a swing, players can order from the exclusive 19th Hole food and beverage menus, featuring the ace shrimp cocktail, bunker burger slides, birdie bbq wings, chip it crab dip, sweet foursome macarons and an array of tasty handcrafted cocktails.
