New Asian Fusion Restaurant at Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort

Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort has opened a new Asian fusion restaurant. Called Suki, the new venue serves up creative interpretations of traditional Asian cuisine in a club-like atmosphere with burnished woods, black marble and glass table surfaces.

Flavor pairings drawing influences from Thailand to Japan mix spicy with crispy and savory with sweet. Among the restaurant’s signature dishes are garlic and ginger marinated salmon in Vietnamese sauce accompanied by Jazmin rice with an essence of cumin and vegetables, as well as the Aphrodisiac Roll, which is made with cream cheese, avocado and shrimp and served wrapped in coconut and topped with red caviar. Desserts include coconut tapioca with lemongrass, or the roasted pineapple, ginger and rosemary cookie. Additionally, couples have the option to enjoy a teppanyaki dining experience, which is available with a pre-reservation.

The new restaurant is open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Desire includes the all-inclusive resorts Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort and Desire Riviera Maya Resort, along with Desire Cruises, each designed for couples only and offering guests a clothing-optional atmosphere. Other experiences on property include adult entertainment, theme nights, couples’ workshops, indoor / outdoor playrooms and brand-name beverage service. The brand is part of the Original Group, a Mexico-based hospitality company.
