New Spa Opening at Sofitel Los Angeles

Sofitel Hotels worldwide, a brand of nearly 200 upscale hotels around the world, has announced that the new Spa at the Sofitel Los Angeles will open in two weeks. The Sofitel Los Angeles reopened this past June after a $40 million transformation to turn it into the brand's flagship property in the U.S. It will be the first Sofitel hotel in the country to have a spa. Sofitel enlisted the design team of Yabu Pushelberg to design it; intricate wood carvings, water features and beautiful tile work give the space a "Zen-meets-L.A." chic look. The spa will feature Decléor and Carita products, and many signature treatments, including the Lift and Firm Facial, which uses Carita Pro-Lift Microcurrent technology. The spa will also feature a chromatherapy tub, which uses colored lights in combination with aromatherapy to alter clients' moods. Doors are expected to open in two weeks.
