New Waterloo Announces Expansion into Baltimore

New Waterloo, a growing, independent hotel management company is announcing further expansion into new markets. The Austin-based hotel group has taken over management for Hotel Revival in Baltimore, MD, starting this month. The Revival Hotel was formerly affiliated with Hyatt Hotels Corp.

Housed in a restored former mansion, Hotel Revival embodies a style of hospitality that is said to be as bold in spirit as "Charm City" itself. The hotel has 107 guestrooms, one restaurant, a cocktail lounge, and a coffee shop. Since opening in 2018, the team at Hotel Revival has established the property as an agent of positive social change in the Baltimore community. New Waterloo looks forward to building upon this culture and reputation for decades to come.

New Waterloo currently owns and operates South Congress Hotel, Otoko, Maie Day, La Condesa, Sway, Café No Sé, Mañana, Il Brutto, and Butler Pitch & Putt. The group also manages El Rey Court in Santa Fe, NM, and Waymore’s Guest House in Nashville, TN. Along with its expansion into Baltimore, New Waterloo is slated to open Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, TX, and two restaurant concepts in Aspen, CO, all in 2023.

New Waterloo is known for its commitment to community. Most recently, New Waterloo’s first venture, La Condesa, was nominated as a James Beard semifinalist for ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and its latest concept, Maie Day, earned one of 10 Best New Restaurants in Texas by Texas Monthly. New Waterloo's hotels have been featured in various recognized publications, with coverage surrounding the spaces’ forward-thinking design, community-centric endeavors, and food and beverage talent.
