Now Open: Hilton Guadalajara Midtown

Hilton has announced the opening of Hilton Guadalajara Midtown, the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand’s second hotel in Guadalajara and eighth property in Mexico. Situated in the heart of the city’s financial and business district, the 225-room hotel in Guadalajara has a swimming pool, fitness center, signature restaurant, two bars and more than 11,500 square feet of flexible event space.

As part of the Midtown Jalisco mixed-use development, Hilton Guadalajara Midtown is four miles from Expo Guadalajara, one of the largest convention centers in Latin America. Guestrooms at the hotel have panoramic views, a 55-inch flat screen TV, in-room espresso machine, bathroom with rain shower and workspace with a spacious desk, ergonomic chair and multiple outlets.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Härth Kitchen Bar Market Guadalajara, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a farm-to-table menu of international comfort food. For a cocktail or tapas, guests can visit Wander, the hotel’s rooftop bar and lounge.

For conferences and events, Hilton Guadalajara Midtown has 11,500 square feet of flexible event space, including 10 meeting rooms and ballrooms. The hotel can accommodate events of up to 550 guests.

The hotel is also less than 12 miles from Guadalajara International Airport, and it has access to the Plaza del Sol shopping center as well as neighboring markets and attractions, such as Teatro Degollado, Lake Chapala and Expiatory Temple. Guests can also take the Tequila Tour by train from Guadalajara to Tequila Jalisco.

Hilton currently has a portfolio of more than 140 hotels and resorts in the Caribbean and Latin America, including more than 60 hotels in Mexico. The company has five hotels in Guadalajara: Hilton Guadalajara Midtown, Hilton Guadalajara, Hampton Inn by Hilton Guadalajara/Expo, Hampton Inn by Hilton Guadalajara-Aeropuerto, and Hotel 1970 Posada Guadalajara, Curio Collection by Hilton. The company is actively pursuing additional Caribbean and Latin American growth opportunities and currently has a pipeline of more than 90 hotels throughout the region, including nearly 30 hotels in the pipeline in México.
