OLS Hotels & Resorts Partners With Volcano House

OLS Hotels & Resorts is providing sales, marketing and revenue optimization services to Volcano House in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. OLS Hotels & Resorts currently operates five other Hawai'i properties: Hotel Renew and Royal Grove Waikiki on Oahu, Plantation Hale Suites and Banyan Harbor Resort on Kauaʻi and Ainamalu at Waikoloa Beach Resort on Hawai'i Island.

Here is a look at the hotel.

Accommodations

Guestrooms feature rustic island decor with updated amenities, including Wi-Fi and use of iPads and GoPros. Sights of Halemaʻumaʻu Crater at the rim of Kīlauea caldera or views of the lush foliage on the park grounds are available through certain rooms.

Dining

Locally sourced products and ingredients are part of Volcano House’s sustainability practices. At The Rim Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Chef Kurt Nelson dishes out cuisine unique to the Pacific region while guests witness the Kīlauea caldera and Halemaʻumaʻu Crater.

Activities

Each evening, guests could experience complimentary educational tours provided by Friends of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park offers several activities including a variety of hikes and educational tours of the park’s changing historical landscape. Volcano House also offers a limited number of cruiser bikes.

Sustainability

Volcano House is part of several sustainable initiatives, including a recycling program, local food sourcing with seasonal specials in the restaurant, ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certification, Hawai'i Green Business certification, and becoming a Waste Wise partner and Energy Star partner.

Rates start at $235 per night.
