Onsite: News From Emerson Resort and Spa

Travel Agent was on site Thursday for Emerson Resort and Spa's media event in New York City. The Mt. Tremper, NY, resort opened its new inn and spa on March 16, and this month added 5,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. Also at the event was the spa's new director, Susan Keene, who joined Emerson in the summer of 2006 after 25 years in the spa industry. The spa includes 10 treatment rooms, private decks overlooking the Hudson valley, two couples' rooms, two outdoor treatment cabanas, a café, a fitness center, a resistance pool and two yoga studios. Emerson executives also announced a Grand Opening Spa Package, available through May 24, 2007, which includes luxury accommodations, meals at the new Phoenix restaurant, lunch at the spa café and one spa treatment per person.
