Onsite: Terra Resort Group to Open Little Nell Hotel in Jackson Hole

NEW YORK-During a recent visit to Manhattan, the Terra Resort Group announced it signed a letter of intent with Aspen Skiing Company to create a Little Nell Hotel in Jackson Hole, WY; it will be the only other Little Nell in the world other than the original five-star ski-in/ski-out property in Aspen, CO. The agreement gives license to Terra Development Group and Terra Resort Group to respectively develop and operate the luxury hotel brand. Terra said that Jackson Hole's Little Nell will be a certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) property, built according to principles of environmental sustainability. An opening date has yet to be set.

In other Jackson Hole news, Hotel Terra [www.hotelterrajacksonhole.com] is on track to open in Jackson Hole this winter. The first in a collection of "green" hotels launched by the Terra Resort Group, Hotel Terra's LEED certification, which will put it in a group of just five LEED certified hotels in the United States, is pending. The 72-room, six-story Hotel Terra is a condominium-boutique hotel property on a slope-side, half-acre site. It has a spa and fitness center, a rooftop hot tub, two restaurants and a snowboard retail and ski rental shop. As a condominium hotel, Hotel Terra's 72 guest rooms offer single guest rooms and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites.
