The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas recently welcomed its first guests on April 15 with the hotel currently confirming reservations for May 1.

Selling Maui’s Newest Villas

Located on 16 acres of North Kaanapali Beach on Maui, The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas is comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas is offers culturally inspired programs and Hawaiian experiences.

The master bedrooms include king-size signature Westin Heavenly Beds and Westin Heavenly Baths with showers, bathtubs and vanities. The living areas offer armoires, queen-size sofa sleepers and private furnished lanais. Villas also come with fully equipped kitchens and washers and dryers. Additionally, the Puuhonua o Nanea Cultural Center will be at the resort's heart. Its innovative and educational cultural offerings will honor local history, language, art, crafts, music and dance.

Other amenities at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas include a lagoon-style swimming pool, a children's beach pool and play area, oceanfront cabanas and a WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio

Mauka Makai, the resort's full-service restaurant, pays tribute to the farming and fishing cultures of ancient Hawaii. 

With an emphasis on farm-to-table, Mauka Makai utilizes indigenous plants and vegetables grown on-site and from local farms to complement popular local dishes. It also features the Westin brand's signature SuperFoodsRxTM menu with nutrient-rich options.

The Inu Pool Bar provides a relaxing setting to enjoy oceanfront views, cocktails and lighter fare. Guests also enjoy access to resort amenities at The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas located next door, including Spa Helani, a Heavenly Spa by Westin.


Meanwhile, the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort on Kauai recently completed a refresh to its rooms and public spaces. The Hawaii plantation-style resort has rolled out a new renovated deluxe-room category – with mountain, lagoon, pool and ocean view rooms – featuring modern decor and a private lanai.


Following a $60 million transformation, the former Aqua Wave Waikiki re-emerged on March 22 as The Laylow Hotel. Oahu’s first Autograph Collection hotel, The Laylow features 251 rooms. Guests are also invited to enjoy the property’s rooftop restaurant, The Hideout. Featuring the culinary creations of Executive Chef Bryan Byard, The Hideout offers Pacific Rim cuisine with a modern-American twist, including kiawe wood house-smoked meats. 


Its $115 million renovation making steady progress, the Pacific Beach Hotel on Oahu is being transformed into a tranquil oasis in the heart of Waikiki. The property will re-enter the market as the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach in the fall.


Wailea Beach Resort, located on Maui, recently unveiled its $100 million refresh, which includes 491 spacious, reimagined guest rooms and 56 suites offering residential-style accommodations designed for the modern traveler.
