Orbitz Worldwide has signed a multi-year agreement for Orbitz.com to become AOL Travel’s primary travel booking partner.
Starting in January 2012, those who visit AOL Travel will be able to book vacation packages, flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises and more on Orbitz.com. Cheaptickets.com, Orbitz.com and Away.com will also feature exclusive AOL Travel guides and have access to travel-themed content from AOL Travel, HuffPost Travel, and Gadling. Editorial content will be available on destination pages and in emails.

Orbitz.com is one of the largest online travel sites in the world and includes such programs as Price Assurance, where if another Orbitz customer books the same hotel or flight for less than you did, then you will receive a check for the difference.
