The Palazzo Las Vegas Debuts the Electra Cocktail Club

The Palazzo Las Vegas has introduced the Electra Cocktail Club, a new bar serving hand-crafted cocktails in a high-energy setting. Electra completes the trio of bars known as "The Venetian Cocktail Collective", comprised of the Dorsey, the Rosina and now the Electra.
Electra’s backbar offers a selection of spirits with a focus on rums, agricoles, and mezcals. Like the menus at The Dorsey and Rosina, Electra’s offerings were conceived by barman Sam Ross and include signature with a bend toward the tropical.

Highlights from the list include:

  • "Penichillin," a frozen play on "The Dorsey’s Penicillin" with lemon, ginger, honey and smoky Scotch
  • "Peach Daiquiri," also frozen, with white rum, rhum agricole, peach and lime
  • "Trouble Maker," a combination of vodka, sweet vermouth, cucumber, lemon and strawberry
  • "Pina Verde," a mix of Green Chartreuse, fresh pineapple, lime, coconut and a dash of cream
  • "Age of Aquarius," with mezcal, passionfruit, lime, honey and Campari

A digital display spanning 40 feet serves as a focal point for Electra’s guests, showcasing original art in 70 million pixels. This visual canvas features a curated selection of art providing story lines that unfold throughout the evening.

Designed by Simeone Deary Design Group under a consulting agreement with Gensler, the 127-seat bar incorporates materials such as brass, granite, etched metals, custom wall coverings and a chandelier with more than 1,200 points of light, offset by deep teal accents throughout the space.

Large sofas provide seating in the center of the room while custom lounge chairs with contrasting leathers and metallic trim line the perimeter. Brass high-top tables run parallel to the 40-foot-long Carrara stone mosaic and black absolute stone bar.

The VIP corner banquette is surrounded by a stack of ten “bracelets,” each fourteen feet in diameter with metal finishes ranging from brass to rose gold. On the ceiling, a concave mirror is suspended with gold bands with faceted backlit crystals running around the entire perimeter.

The music at Electra includes a mix of genres with artists such as David Bowie, N.E.R.D., Cardi B, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, G-Eazy, The Talking Heads, Drake, Cage The Elephant, Portugal. The Man, The Rolling Stones and more.

Electra will be open daily from 3 p.m. until 4 a.m.
