Plans Announced for a Luxury All-Inclusive Resort in Curacao

Pen Resort B.V. has announced its plans to develop an oceanfront property into a luxury resort on the island of Curaçao by 2016.

Situated on a unique beachfront location in the capital of Willemstad, the future Pen Resort Hotel will be a luxury resort with an all-inclusive concept.

The hotel will have 313 rooms, featuring amenities expected in a AAA- 4 Diamond rated resort. On the property there will be five restaurants and three bars for enjoyment, a full-service spa and gym, along with many other amenities for all ages.

Additionally, Pen Resort B.V. plans to restore Curaçao’s 19th century landmark of “Cerro Bonito Mansion” to be used as an elegant casino and restaurant. They will also restore the historical “Kas di Pueblo,” which will feature suites that are complimented by butler service and where meeting and banquet facilities will be located.

The resort will consist of contemporary Dutch Caribbean architecture, where traditional 19th century buildings will complement one another with fresh vibrant architectural designs. The Pen Resort will be only 30 minutes away from Curaçao’s International Airport and only steps away from the center of the capital, Willemstad.
