In a move that leverages opportunities in South Africa as the 2010 FIFA World Cup approaches, Preferred Hotel Group has formed a new strategic partnership with boutique hotel company Mantis Group to become the largest international hotel brand in South Africa. The total number of Preferred members on the continent now reaches 30. These latest 14 additions to the family range from luxury properties in bustling Cape Town, to unique game reserves in Port Elizabeth and the Kruger National Park as well as the renowned Draycott Hotel in London.

These new additions join three other new members in South Africa, including Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Residences, Cape Town; and the Devon Valley Hotel and Erinvale Golf Estate Hotel & Spa both in the Stellenbosch Region.
