rince Resorts Hawaii recently enhanced its leisure sales team with new appointments and promotions.
Ayumi White joined as director of sales and marketing for the Asia Pacific market; Cathy Bay was appointed to regional director of leisure sales; and Samantha Collins was promoted to director of sales at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Golf Course at the Mauna Kea Resort.
White has been appointed director of sales and marketing, Asia Pacific for all three Prince Resorts Hawaii properties: the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club on the island of Oahu, and on Hawaii Island, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Golf Course and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Golf Course at the Mauna Kea Resort on the Kohala Coast. Relocating from Odawara, Japan, she will work closely with the Prince Resorts Hawaii marketing team to grow transient business in Asia markets.
Her extensive experience includes serving as director of sales and marketing with The Ritz Carlton Kyoto, ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka, Ishin Hotel Group and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in the Maldives and Shanghai.
Bay will be responsible for key leisure accounts in Canada, northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and the Northeast U.S. for all three Prince Resorts Hawaii properties.
Most recently, Bay held the title of regional sales marketing director for Oceania Cruises. Her 25 years of experience in selling Hawaii also includes Kona Village, All About Hawaii, Runaway Tours and Creative Leisure.
Collins will continue to oversee all domestic and non-Asia international leisure sales activities for all three Prince Resorts Hawaii properties, but also manage the on-site group sales, catering and convention services teams at Mauna Kea Resort.
Collins previously served as director of leisure sales for all three Prince Resorts Hawaii and brings more than 10 years of hospitality experience garnered at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts hotels in Hawaii.
